The PCFL is coming to BlogTalkRadio on the Independent Sports Network. The Pilot will debut Sunday, November 28, 2010 at 8pm (pst).
The PCFL is in its 2nd Season. We will Highlight the Inaugural 2010 Season as well as cover what’s ahead for 2011. Special Guest Ken Curry, Commissioner of the Pacific Coast Football League.
The PCFL on BlogTalkRadio
Starting Sunday, November 21 at 8pm (pst), The PCFL is coming to BlogTalkRadio on the Independent Sports Network.
The Independent Sports Network was a site that I created to use along side Women’s Football Talk, but to be utilized for men’s semi-pro football. Though we utilized the switchboard over at WFB Talk Continues for Men’s Semi-pro Audio Broadcasts, we embedded a player at the www.isportsnetradio.com site.
After meeting with some of the men of the PCFL, I felt that they too deserved the recognition. I’m a promoter. That’s what I enjoy to do and will help out anyway that I can if I am asked.

For the 2011 PCFL Season
Since the creation of Women’s Football Talk, also known as WFB Talk, a blog and internet radio show covering women’s tackle football as well as the end of the NGL (National Golf League) after completing only three seasons, SacTown News was placed on hold, following only a few flag football events and a recent update on an upcoming mini-camp.
Now two years later we are dusting off the WordPress dashboard. Last season I started a women’s six-man tackle football team and played a three game exhibition season. During that process we took interest in a new semi-pro men’s league that made its inaugural debut in 2010. The Pacific Coast Football League (PCFL) had 16 teams in four conferences.
For the 2011 PCFL season, SacTown News will utilize its other website, Independent Sports Network (www.isportsnetradio.com) to give support to this league.
We already follow women’s football and will continue to do so, but we want to also focus more of our efforts on men’s semi-pro.
If you are a writer/blogger or photographer, please check out the Tab requesting Writer/Photogs Wanted above to see how you can get involved as a PCFL Reporter.

Wicked Shuts Down Speed
Today I dusted off the cobwebs and decided to put SacTown News back in the Blogger sphere once again.
I hadn’t attended a Women’s Flag Football game since last year and before the final game of the season, I wanted to make sure I got the chance to watch the Wicked n Wild vs Speed Racers.
Both these teams consist of some past and present Sacramento Sirens players as well as very serious minded seasoned flag players, so the tension is always high when these two teams collide.
