Sacramento Sirens Hold 2nd Tryouts

The Sacramento Sirens Women’s Professional Football Team tryouts were held today at McKinley Park in East Sacramento.  Seven prospective Sirens were there to see if “they have what it takes” to be part of the 2007 season.

625: Julie Stonebraker 628: Pamela Eaton629: Amy Richardson 630: Christine Buss 632: Leighanne Scott 633: Sharon Seirer 634: Rebecca Foster

Athletes began tryouts with a three minute jog, group stretch and warm-ups.  They were then divided into three groups and rotated through the below skill stations.

• 10-yd dash, 20-yd dash and 40-yd dash
• Obstacle Course
• Shuttle Run
• Bench Press with physio ball
• Medicine Ball Throw
• Long Jump
• Passing
• Receiving
• Kicking
