Sirens vs Shockwave, “Good Match-Up in Portland”

Don't count the Sacramento Sirens out of this one nor the Portland Shockwave as the announcer at the Atlanta vs Detroit game did at yesterday's broadcast.  The Portland Shockwave are 4-0 at Home and the Sacramento Sirens are 4-0 Away.  This should be a good match-up.  No one thought that Santa Rosa could beat Portland [...]

Sacramento Sirens Fate left up to the “Football gods”

You ask a Sacramento Sirens player about the season and you will get "all heart".  No excuses, but a positive on how the team came together and made improvement at every game.  One player even said, "That losing has humbled us because it always came so easy.  This year we had to work at it and if [...]

Oakland A’s vs San Francisco Giants “Sporting Throwbacks”

If you happened to turn on the baseball game tonight you would have noticed that the A's and Giants were playing in their throwback from the 80's uniforms.  Got a glimpse of Barry in the bottom of the 8th on the "ye old" flat screen tv.  Barry walked, stole second and ran home after a [...]

Sacramento Sirens “Wait”

The Sacramento Sirens did their part, but now must wait for the outcome
of their fate. The Sacramento Sirens defeated the Seattle Majestics
42-20 on Saturday. If you recall, the Sacramento Sirens and Seattle
Majestics were in a "must win" situation for a wildcard spot for the
playoffs since they shared the same record of 4-2. It turns out [...]
